When I am working on a project there are a few things that I like to do to ensure that I can make the most of my time and budget. There are a number of things involved in a project that traditionally end up costing money to do. I like things that work well, minimize the time needed to manage, setup, administer, learn, integrate, and when I find something that can do that AND the cost is low or free it makes me very happy!
Here are a couple of the tools that I work with, that I have found to work well, that are free.
(Check back in as I add details on how I use each, the features I like, and how I integrate everything together into dashboards for myself and clients)

Project Management (planning & estimation)
Arbor makes creating backlog, organizing projects and themes, and estimating really easy. Arbor allows for simple integration between slack and trello (see below for more info on them) which makes it easy to collaborate.

Task Tracking
Trello is quick and simple kanban task management. With the ability to create custom states it makes it easy to provide detailed status reports.

Communication

Hi, my name is Clancey and I am a quality advocate, automator, and toolsmith.

I help companies with quality. To do this I end up automating a lot of things, functional testing being one of them.
